Outside of my role as Commissioner of Schools, I am Vice President of Operations and Instruction for the Dale Carnegie Rochester office. I am a multi-course certified Dale Carnegie Master Trainer, and only 2% of worldwide Dale Carnegie trainers reach this level of distinction. Currently I am focused on training, innovating solutions for organizations to engage their workforce, training & assessing potential Dale Carnegie Trainers and operational management. I know that Dale Carnegie makes an organization a great place to work through our competencies, methodologies and time tested approach, and the bigger picture is to make Rochester a great place to work!

I volunteer on numerous community committees and taskforces and such as the Ibero Education Taskforce and ACT Rochester. I was elected to the Rochester City School Board in 2007 and am proud to be the youngest female to serve as a Commissioner of Education in Rochester. I am honored to be the recipient of the 2008 Rochester's Up and Coming Businesswoman, which recognizes women who have demonstrated success and influence in the community. I am also proud to have been recognized in 2010 as one of Rochester Business Journal’s “40 under 40.”

I love our city and am dedicated to its development and prosperity. Most importantly, I live on Culver Road with my two young children, Rafael and Karina, and my husband David.
